Sound complicated? Don’t worry, a software company called appsolute have created a Mac app called MAMP that requires no Terminal involvement and is completely self contained. PHP is the most common web development language and MySQL the most common database. While it can be argued that PHP and even MySQL may not even be required for a web server to work (and indeed for static HTML content with a little Javascript, they aren’t), Apache, MySQL and PHP are the cornerstones of modern web development. MAMP is just the Mac equivalent - Mac, Apache, MySQL and PHP. If you’ve spent any time in web development or managing a web server, then chances are you’ve come across something called LAMP. Once a site has been created within Anvil, you’ll be able to open it in your browser When you click install, you’ll see Terminal open and some magic happen. #MAMP FOR MAC PHP 5.4 INSTALL#

The majority of that population is concentrated in South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, and Zambia. The shoebill stork is known as a statue-like bird because of its proclivity for standing and remaining still for lengthy periods of time. Currently, the IUCN estimates there are between 3,300 and 5,300 adult shoebills left in the wild. In some areas, shoebills are also hunted for food, while in others they are killed because they are seen as bad omens. Habitat destruction and industrial pollution are affecting populations. The most noticeable feature of the shoebill is the clog-shaped bill which is pointed and hooked at the end. Unfortunately, as one might imagine, the shoebill's major predator is us. To fend off predators from stealing eggs, shoebills build their nests in places that are difficult to reach, and they aren't afraid to get aggressive to defend that nest. In the wild, they can live for nearly 36 years and, as one might imagine, adults don't have major predators. Even mating pairs search for food on opposite ends of the territory. Interestingly, shoebills don't live in groups. The shoebill resembles a stork in its structure and shape, and this is why it is also sometimes referred to as the shoebill stork. But they can also hunt monitor lizards, baby crocodiles, turtles, and frogs. They primarily feast on lungfish, bichirs, catfish, and tilapia. Fish is the main component of their diet. Though shoebills are carnivores, they're looking for small prey. If you were wondering what these prehistoric-looking birds eat, don't worry-humans aren't on the menu. Then, they'll clatter their bills, much like storks do, to communicate with one another. Shoebills are typically silent except when they arrive at the nest. They're not only deliberate in their movements but also in their sounds. With good food and a little luck, it will grow to be a loyal companion or fierce guardian. This means that they simply fall forward on their prey with their beaks wide open, scooping up their meal. Shoebill Carcass Weight 50.00 ID 19036 Description Smaller, cuter and significantly less dangerous than its parents, this immature animal can be placed in an animal pen and given various types of fodder to make it grow. And when the time is right, they make their move by exhibiting a behavior called collapsing. Shoebills can stand motionless for hours, waiting for the perfect moment to catch their prey. Looks like a bouncer ejecting trash from his club, to be honest. It's like 'get the duck out of my way, will ya' I think this has meme potential. Just their clog-like beak, alone, measures a foot long and nearly half a foot wide.īut if you came upon a shoebill, there's a good chance you'd be intimidated not only by the size but the fact that they don't move. I think this is called 'duck slinging' as nature does not seem to say 'excuse me' when another animal is in the way, like a duck. They can reach up to five-feet high with an eight-foot wingspan, making them fairly intimidating. Thanks to their stature, they truly are kings of their environment. Their thin legs with large feet give them the ability to wade through the vegetation of swamps and marshes from Ethiopia to Zambia. The shoebill's natural habitat is the swamps of eastern Africa.
IF 2020 featured short performance videos by musicians, spoken word poets, dancers, theatre practitioners, and multi-disciplinary artists from over 25 countries captured in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Presented by the International Institute for Critical Studies in Improvisation (IICSI) in partnership with festivals and community organizations around the world, this all-night celebration of the arts streamed online for 24-hours starting on August 8 th at midnight UTC. Id have a go and see what works best for you, but my personal preference would defintely be Qlab unless your doing some quite advanced projection mapping which is where millumin really has the advantage.IF 2020 was a 24-hour online improvisation festival, featuring 100+ unique, original performances by over 150 international artists of all disciplines. #The millumin message full#Really id say your best to use one of your existing macs and have a play, Qlabs demo is rather limited on the video front, but as I mentioned you can hire a full license for a day to see what you think, and millumin has a fully featured demo you can download. #The millumin message mac#Ive never had any issues with Qlab in a show (and I havent used millumin in one, only on research/development/testing things but never had any performance issues running on a fairly low spec mac pro) and the Qlab support is great as they are a considerably bigger company, also should you ever need an extra machine you can hire a license super cheaply for 3 dollars a day! Playback for both has been fine for me on a Mac Mini running a dual head doing a similar thing to what your describing with no issues playing multiple HD clips and crossfading into others. I haven't had a chance to properly use the edge blending on Qlab3 but the controls look good and its not something you can go too wrong with. #The millumin message software#Qlab is made for straight theatre shows (largely) and sounds as though it would be much more suited to the kind of thing your doing (its similar to playback pro, which is used widely for conferences, but has recently gained more features such as keystone etc.) Millumin is more of a VJ software largely aimed at video mapping not just creating a screen which you want to reliably playback the same thing on over and over. I'd say cueing wise Qlab is significantly better than Millumin. Sounds as though Qlab would be more ideal for your situation, with which you have the option of going for separate outputs per projector/control screen (which I would definitely recommend if you can, it will also work over multiple graphics cards) three outputs to drive the projectors and one to drive the operators screen? I think my images will be about 768x2900 pixels so not real high resolution and mainly 30fps video.Īlso for control/operators screen, do I run a dual output video card in the computer and run one output to the operators screen and the other to drive the video splitter? If this is right do these software packages have the ability to asign the program output to a specific output on the video card or do I have to drag a "window" over and position it in the extended desktop space?Īs well I am thinking of using Matrox THTG or a Datapath x4 to split the signals to projectors.but would it be just as easy to run something like an AMF Eyefinity video card with four outputs. Is the edge blending in one better than the other? How stable are they in critical playback situations, are there lock ups, crashes, latency issues? How is the playlist cueing, can they play clip to clip seamlessly? How hard are they on computer resources? Both these software solutions are Mac based and offer integrated edge blending, mapping for screen alignments and playlist/timeline playback cueing but I cant really figure out how either really performs. We already have the screen and projectors but need to purchase all the playback gear. Projected content will mainly be preproduced video clips, sometimes many in quick succession, all with audio. #The millumin message portable#The system will be portable and mainly used for awards and corporate events. We are looking at edge blending three Christie LX605 XGA projectors into one wide screen about 10 metres wide. I am trying to compare QLab and Millunim for a project we are designing now for delivery in a month and a half. Wondering if any experienced users would share their comments.
Dropbox works, but requires the separate Yubico authenticator app. Accessing Google (either via any browser or through various Google apps) would only present a digital 2FA option. #Yubico authenticator androidHowever, further attempts to use Yubikey with Android apps were inconsistent. When setting a main Google account on the device, it asks for the security key, which you place against the back of the device. I had a Samsung Galaxy S9 handy to try how Android works with security keys. However, I couldn’t get it to work right as it only provided prompts for SMS 2FA. Google documentation shows that their apps support security keys on iOS, provided you download their Smart Lock app. So far, only LastPass has implemented support. It wasn’t until iOS 11 that iPhones could read NFC tags, and in late May 2018, Yubico released an SDK for iOS. Here’s the biggest stumbling block for Yubikey-it has almost no adoption on iOS yet. Not surprising, sites accessed through a desktop browser work smoothly, but how about mobile devices? I abandoned it quickly because while you can get a free account, you need a paid one to use Yubikey. LastPass is only app (at all!) that works with Yubikey on iOS (more on that later). #Yubico authenticator passwordThe password manager I use doesn’t work with security keys yet, so I tried out LastPass. Firefox provides the prompt, but doesn’t recognize you’ve inserted the security key. Just like Google, it was quick and painless to add the Yubikey NEO to Facebook, but at the moment, it only works with Chrome. It doesn’t work on iOS yet, and requires the Yubico authenticator app on Android to work on a mobile device-which means additional setup on desktop. Dropbox was the only app (that I tried) to work in Firefox. So, it appears that some companies limit what browsers can access security keys with their site/app, for now. Here, I discovered that Firefox actually can accept security keys, and across multiple OSes. A bummer, though not a huge surprise! It is still annoying to get locked into only one browser. I tried Safari next and got a more specific error message explaining that the security key would only work in Chrome.Īs I later learned, Google accounts only support the Yubikey on Chrome. I use Firefox on my personal computers, and when Google asked me to plug in my security key, Firefox would only give me an error and tell me to try again. Once set up from my work laptop, I tried it on macOS, and this is where I ran into my first issue. Setup is simple, taking just a few minutes from the browser. Nobody reads instructions front to back anyway… For each app, after setup, I tried it out on multiple browsers and devices without reading any further instructions, so I could see how easy it is to use. Quite a few apps support Yubikey, and I started with the two most popular, Google and Facebook, and then took a look at Dropbox and LastPass. Instructions for common apps and OSes are curated at the Yubikey setup page. With the Yubikey NEO ready to go, it was time to test it with different apps. (The MacBook even opened up a keyboard installation window, which I later found out in the documentation is expected.) The only annoyance I experienced is that my two-year-old personal Windows laptop kept making the “device attached/removed” noise, even when I left the Yubiky alone (luckily, it still worked anyway). My Windows and macOS laptops recognized it, though it registers as a keyboard. The Yubikey doesn’t require much setup and is ready to go from the moment you plug it in. #Yubico authenticator windows 10I tested it out on several different devices and computers, including my new TechTarget Windows 10 laptop, my personal Windows 10 laptop, a five-year-old Chromebook, and a 2015 MacBook Pro. #Yubico authenticator how toIt came with no documentation and directed me to the Yubico website to learn how to use the NEO and discover applications it currently works with. We purchased a Yubikey NEO, which includes NFC for mobile devices and USB for desktops, for $50 from Amazon. Although with proximity to the state capital which shares much of the same culture and climate, Moore has risen to its own unique and different identity. Moore maintains a peaceful aesthetic that serves as a getaway from the hectic and busy streets of nearby Oklahoma City. Here all tastes can be catered to with fishing allowed on two ponds, two walking trails, some pavilions, washrooms, and 52 acres to really stretch those legs and run around in. Seeking an interesting place for an afternoon with the family? Visit the pirate-themed playground and splash pad at Little River Park. Other infrastructures include the Happy Tails Dog Park, washrooms, tennis courts, a skate park, a 1.3-mile walking trail, and a sand volleyball court. There are two playgrounds for children: one is dedicated to 2 to 5-year-olds and another for 5 to 12-year-olds. Buck Thomas Park and Happy Tails Dog Parkįound in northeast Moore, this park and green space is a much-loved area for families. Notable exhibits include primates, amphibians, marsupials, carnivores, flightless birds, and Oklahoma wildlife. Whether looking for a rainy day activity or an afternoon of fun, the Museum of Osteology is guaranteed to keep all family members busy and intrigued. With more than 800 specimens and over 40 exhibits, there is much to see at the Museum of Osteology or better known as a museum of skeletons. Thus, the postmaster continued to acknowledge the area as “Moore,” which was incorporated in 1893. As the story goes, he wrote “Moore” on a sign over his boxcar to rectify this issue. Although it was uncertain if Al Moore was a brakeman or a conductor, he did live in a boxcar and had difficulty receiving mail. Both of these tornadoes made international headlines. Sadly, 24 people lost their lives, making the 2013 Moore Tornado the deadliest since Joplin in 2011. As a result, whole subdivisions and schools were destroyed in a 17-mile-long path of destruction. We took advantage of Ryan's expertise and his to pedal around on his Art and Architecture Tour. I suppose the trail is perfect for tourists wandering around Bricktown seeing the sights and wanting to get in some steps, and for the evening revelers as well, but it's way too short for anyone thinking about biking it UNLESS you combine it with other routes and downtown sites which is precisely what we did. BORDERLANDS 2 SIREN FULLTired of going full Brawn with Salvador but still soaking up damage faster than you can regenerate it? Maya can help, and not by healing Salvador. And finally in tier 6 you phaselock enemies so they can attack enemies around you, most of the time being their own kind. BORDERLANDS 2 SIREN UPGRADEIn tier 5 you can upgrade your chances to phaselock another target by 20%. In tier 4 you can upgrade your phaselock cooldown rate. Also in tier 3 for 1 skill point you can acquire will pull nearby enimes toward the enemy in phaselock. In tier 3 your movement speed increase by 10% for 5 levels and your shield regeneration and reload speed increase. 5% for 5 levels and your deflection change damage reduction and deflected bullet damage also increase. In tier 2 your phaselock duration increases by. In tier 1 your shield capacity and shield recharge delay increase and also your gun damage and bullet speed increases. In this category you will be able to upgrade your phaselock abilities and upgrade other skills as follows. Finally max out the Sustenance trait to constantly regenerate health at a rapid rate, combined with Elated, you will be hard to kill. However only put three points into this, its a good recovery speed and you need the rest for Res, which is just one point and it allows phaselock to be used on a partner for instant revive when they are in "Fight for your Life". Elated can save a lot of you in a tough spot, this allows that when you phaselock an enemy, your health regenerates and also your partners, very helpful when fighting a tough boss who is wiping the floor with you. Mind's Eye will increase critical hit damage and Sweet Release will allow life orbs to leap out after you have killed a phaselocked enemy and seek out and heal whoever needs healing. The next tier, is max health and healing bullets, I wouldn't recommend the healing bullets trait(Restoration) because you waste ammo healing partners and you can't heal yourself, instead max out Wreck because when an enemy is phaselocked, your gun damage and fire rate shoot through the roof, 30% gun damage and 50% more fire rate doesn't sound like much but when mixed with Motion tree's "Sub-sequence" its a constant hail of bullets and destruction. Place three points on Mind's Eye and Sweet Release. The Harmony tree though focused on co-op healing, it is quite powerful especially with the "Angelic Nurse" class mod. Motion tree should be, maxed out on Shield Capacity, two points on Accelerate, max out duration, max out Converge, two points on Inertia, and now max out the cooldown increase and max out Sub-sequence which will allow for when you phaselock and kill an enemy, your phaselock instead of entering a cooldown will jump to a nearby enemy and trap them for the remaining time duration. Similar to the Motion tree above, but with subtle tweaks. Ruin , the capstone skill in the tree, causes your Phaselock ability to apply the Slag, Electrocuted, and Corroded effects to all enemies near the Phaselocked target. Blight Phoenix causes you to deal constant Fire and Corrosive to nearby enemies for a few moments after a kill. Reaper adds an additional 40% Gun Damage to targets whose health is above 50%. Tiers 4, 5, and 6 are essential to this build. Adding a point into Immolate will make getting your Second Wind a tad easier, while Chain Reaction allows your bullets to ricochet toward additional targets while you have an enemy Phaselocked. Points earned beyond these may be spent in talents that best suit your play style. Place 1 point into Cloud Kill (releases a stationary Corrosive cloud when a bullet connects with an enemy, 5 second duration) Īdditional Talent Points in the Cataclysm tree:.Max out Helios (5/5 = Helios Damage: Rank 5), which will cause your Phaselock to release a Fire Nova, dealing Fire damage to nearby enemies and possibly affecting them with the Burn effect. You could add points into the Foresight skill for additional Reload Speed, but won't need it if you maxed out Inertia in the Motion tree. Max out Flicker (5/5 = 30% more likely to cause Elemental Effects with guns) to increase your chances of setting an opponent on fire, electrocuting them, etc. |
